Mrwhizsmall Hi there, animal lovers & healers!

There has been yet another pet food recall in America this week. Bravo! pet foods have been recalled, as reported on Dr Carol Osborne’s blog. The concern is salmonella and listeria in poultry – based foods.

Bravo is a raw diet aimed to be more natural, as we know that dogs and cats in the wild would eat raw herbivores including their skin, bones & vegetation in their guts. There is plenty of information on their website, which points out some of the health benefits of a raw food diet.

Certainly some holistic vets recommend a raw food diet, including chicken wings, for example.

See below for the FDA info, but for some light relief I am also adding a great YouTube video of a 4 week old kitten being natural: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkE9d2ikhvU

Brown_bear Hello from the Naturally Healthy Pet!

I just found this amazing site that helps highlight the plight of bears worldwide. It is a useful resource with links to campaigns, info on bear farming in Korea, dancing bears in India (which still takes place, would you believe it! I thought that was centuries ago!) and much much more. http://www.savethebears.co.uk/

There is a forum on our own site where you can add any information on charities and campaigns to share with the community – so do join up & chat!

Heal_donkey_heart_048 I have been working hard getting the new website set up but there appears to be a little delay – as far as I was concerned it was opening tonight, but the header still does not look right, so until the designers have it sorted you will continue to be diverted to this site when you enter the URL www.thenaturallyhealthypet.com .

Just to give you a further taster of what is in store, I have been busy writing articles on:

Urinary problems in cats

Ageing in dogs

Diabetes in dogs

African Horse Sickness

Craniosacral therapy

Managing the indoor cat

and much, much more.

In addition the forums are set up & ready for you to start chatting, debating and asking for help.

I have even managed to load up my relaxation CDs into the on line shop!

I am sure it will be set up to go some time tomorrow, and don’t forget, the first 100 therapist and 100 public members who register get a whole year of membership free (a saving of £56.76 at the monthly rate).

Take care, enjoy your animals and let me know if you have any special requests.
